Running Ubuntu 24.04 on a Ryzen 5 3600 with 32GB RAM, headless setup. RDP connections don’t let me access the files tab or settings—just see icons but not the actual apps. Switching monitors works (no remote), but using new GPU drivers fixes it and lets me view files/settings when remote is active. Reverting to any other NVIDIA driver causes the problem again. I’m trying to use NVIDIA drivers for Jellyfin transcoding and need a solution that works with them. Same issue reported in another thread, except the new driver fix helps.
As I remember, you should have a fake HDMI adapter linked to make the GPU believe a screen is present.
