It seems you've reached the limit of its performance and it's operating at its peak.
Cool it has AVX instructions, so overall it can still handle those game demands fairly well.
Since you got the RTX 2080 as a gift, and previously you were using a GTX 750 Ti without issues, this upgrade would be a significant improvement.
If you don't want to obsess over FPS numbers and are satisfied with the results, it's all about what works for you.
I know it's an older model, but if it still functions smoothly and you enjoy it, that's what matters.
they never fully resolved the core parking problem because of the two CPUs or modules. amd explained it as shared resources, but the issue was they couldn't function together until one CPU finished, and windows continued to treat it as a 4-core instead of an 8-core. they never got it fixed properly. i still have an athlon x4 845, which was the closest they came to a solution. carrizo, if we hadn't gotten fm2 from that platform, the apus we have today wouldn't exist.
I'll just leave this here for @pc dopey... *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice First off, respect where respect is due - this is an adaptation of the Animal's *How To Ask For New Build Advice* Sticky. I created this because there's a lot of posts nowadays asking for upgrade advice both on here and on the CPU forums, and I feel... forums.
your request is to ask other members to give feedback on this current rig. I would rate it around 4 out of 10, where 1 is a random smartphone and 10 is the latest high-end hardware.
if you need guidance on upgrading this system, consider replacing it entirely as a gift or during a sale, and build a fresh modern setup from the ground up.
