i didn't understand anything about the ram. i'll return the ones i have and get a 6000 instead.

Just got some upgrades, maybe Newegg will reconsider the other AIOs lol

So I just put in the new RAM, but the startup is still super slow now. Is there anything else I should adjust?

I don't think so. Boot times being slow are quite typical... this is probably memory training, which I assume improves over time. My current start-up is taking a few minutes.
