I've finished setting up OpenVPN on my Raspberry Pi. It works well and I can browse the internet as if I'm at home. The issue is with a network share I want to access while connected to the VPN, but clients can't see it or any other devices except the local one. When my laptop connects to my home network, the settings are: IPv4 Address 192.168.12.19, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway 192.168.12.254. Through the VPN, it shows IPv4 Address 192.168.43.11, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway 192.168.43.1. The Raspberry Pi has a static IP of 192.168.12.18. I really need some guidance since I'm stuck. Andrew

OpenVPN doesn't require network discovery by default. You can still locate known hosts using DNS if set up correctly. Files are usually accessible through UNC paths using the IP address.

To mount the shares via IP, follow the appropriate steps specific to your system or platform. Consult the documentation for guidance on connecting and configuring the IP-based sharing process.
