I experienced this before, usually with a controller or something linked to the PC. The first time was an XBOX controller, the second involved the throttle pedal on my simrig. Take everything off your PC and disable Bluetooth if you have it. Does the issue persist?

I haven’t linked anything new to my PC yet. The only unusual peripherals are likely an external DVD drive, an external HDD docking station, and a USB hub—though they’ve been connected for a while. (Perhaps one of these is malfunctioning now?) The rest are standard keyboard, mouse, and speaker inputs. I’ll give it a try. The frustrating part is that this issue doesn’t always appear. Thank you.

I looked at the keyboard, mouse, USB hub, external CD, and HDD docking bay. Then I realized the issue was the USB controller. When my wife wiped the desk, she pushed the joystick under the monitor—though I should have noticed it could control menu or item selections in Windows. Thanks for your help!
