I'm experiencing issues with my PC lately. Over the past three months, whenever I launch games like Sea of Thieves, Fortnite, Propnight, or Destiny 2, it suddenly shuts down and restarts itself. It turns back on after a reset. Could this be related to a motherboard problem?

The problem likely involves the GPU or power supply unit. It appears to frequently crash during game startup. Check the Windows Event Viewer for any critical errors. Do you have a different PSU or GPU available for testing?

Just changed the power supply from a TR2 600W to a RM 750 model while keeping the same GPU (Asus 1070). If issues persist, I’ll test with my older GTX 1050 Ti.

Could originate from the PSU, possibly around 600 watts, though it may be quite outdated. Over time, low-quality PSUs can cause wattage to drop.

Replaced the power supply unit and it appeared to resolve the issue. I managed to play Destiny 2 all night.

Check if your old power supply remains covered under warranty and request a return via the manufacturer. Good luck resolving the problem!
