Random PC freezes ?
Hello, I'm experiencing issues where my PC freezes unexpectedly at random times. This started after upgrading from an RTX 2060 to a RX 6800XT. I kept everything else unchanged, reinstalled Windows from the official site, and updated the BIOS to the latest version. Here are my specifications:
CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x stock
GPU - RX 6800XT running stock
RAM - Kingston Fury Beast 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz
PSU - Corsair RMx 750 Gold plus
Motherboard - Rog Strix B550 WiFi
2x NVMe SSD (one Gen 4 for Windows, one Gen 3 for games)
1x HDD 7200rpm for general use
What is the age of the PSU in your setup? Regarding your system, which operating system are you using? Remove all drives from your device except the one you plan to install the OS on, then install the OS in offline mode (without accessing www), install the most recent drivers for your platform via an elevated command, and finally reconnect to www to update the OS.
Did you confirm clearing the CMOS after ensuring it was updated to the latest version during the BIOS update?
My PSU is about six years old, I'm using Windows 11 Pro. I've already completed the full installation process, switched to offline mode, and installed all necessary drivers myself. I've also observed this issue only during League of Legends. I'm not sure if it's a PC problem or if my game has corrupt files, but I haven't noticed any problems since reinstalling it multiple times.
