I recently assembled my PC about a week ago, and everything functions smoothly, but games frequently freeze when I press Alt. I’m unsure what’s causing this issue, though I suspect it might be related to Windows. I’m looking for ways to fix it.

Confirm you're using ALT-tabbing and not another app opening. Try running your game in windowed mode to check for notifications or other processes. You might also run a task manager in the foreground and watch the process tab to identify any conflicting activity.

I used the same keyboard on both computers, but on the new one it works fine while it doesn't on the old one.

I only have Discord, NVIDIA drivers, and Logitech gaming software installed each time I play.

It's possible background processes are interfering, which is why I suggested checking the task manager while you play in windowed mode. Also, as @LukeTheCoder05 pointed out, test with a different keyboard even if it wasn't the problem before. The goal of troubleshooting is to explore all possibilities, including those that seem unrelated, to confirm the issue.

Also, ensure you're using full screen mode. If you have several monitors and games restrict your mouse to a specific window (like FPS titles), you might still lose focus if you move the mouse quickly enough. I experienced this issue myself when I increased my mouse DPI too much.
