Hey there, I see you're dealing with a frustrating issue on your older PC. The freezing you're experiencing, especially when loading programs or idle, is likely tied to the BIOS initialization error (Qcode 02). You've already tried several fixes—bios refresh, clean install, RAM testing, power cables—and still face the same problem. Let's dig deeper. Have you checked for any pending BIOS updates? Also, ensure your motherboard drivers are up to date and that your system is running a stable OS version. If possible, try booting into safe mode to see if the issue persists. Good luck, and let me know what you find!

Use prime95 with large FFTs, tm5 and anta777 profile for a reliable RAM test. Avoid any setup that might bypass even unstable memory. The main concern here is likely the RAM itself.

It seems the device may freeze due to hardware issues. Could all four sticks be faulty? Replacing them might resolve the problem. I verified each stick independently by connecting them one at a time.
