Issue ------ This is a new build that I've been using for almost a month now. Whenever I play games, it is crashing with no error message. Sometimes it might crash 2 times in an hour and sometimes I can play for 2 days without any crashes. After the game crashes, I end up on the desktop. No other app that I might have open (discord, chrome etc) is not affected at all. The system does not go into not responding or anything. I just end up at the desktop. Since it is happening with almost all the games, I assume that it is not related to the games files. Please feel free to suggest more trouble shooting steps or letting me know about what could be causing this. Also does this look more like a software or hardware issue? PC Specs ---------- CPU : Ryzen 5 7600 Graphics : Gigabyte RTX 4060TI OC RAM : Gskill Trident Z 6000 [16 x 2] (AMD EXPO Enabled) Mobo : MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi PSU : Coolermaster 650W Storage : WD 1TB SN770 Gen4 Things I Have Tried -------------------- 1. Multiple versions of GPU driver including the latest one 2. Taking out and putting the GPU and RAM back in to ensure that everything is inserted properly 3. Checked windows error viewer for any error messages. There are no error messages. 4. Added my entire games folder to Windows Defender exclusions 5. Ran Furmark and stress tested my GPU. No issues 6. Ran Windows Memory Test to check for issues with my RAM. None detected 7. Monitored temps under stress test. Nothing goes above 85 degree Celsius. Things I Have To Do --------------------- 1. Try turning AMD Expo off 2. Try running with one stick of RAM 3. Check RAM with memtest86 4. Reinstalling Windows Edited August 11, 2024 by xV2x

It seems you're asking about the storage devices. Maybe your games are stored on a different SSD and it's deteriorating? Look into its condition and review the SMART data for any issues with media or data.

Just added storage details to the post. I only have one SSD in the system, everything is in it. Will check these out just in case.

Disable XMP or whatever is currently used. Also avoid any adjustments to overclocking or underclocking, not to mention other parts.

The RAM supports speeds up to 6000 MT/s. It usually starts at 4600 or 4800 unless you enable AMD EXPO for full performance. I’ll probably disable EXPO and see what happens.

I assumed the problem was related to RAM stability, expecting a crash or freezing, but nothing is occurring. I’ll test using the standard 4800 speed.
