I plan to delete Norton tomorrow and if that doesn't resolve the issue, I'll try installing the OS on the SATA SSD again, which seems to work.

additional random issues may stem from Windows hardware acceleration and optimization settings in your display preferences. I've disabled them, which helped reduce many crashes with Denuvo.

fully remove 9070 xt drivers
download fresh versions
disconnect from the internet
install the updated drivers
