Ran at max speed but stopped working when nothing was running.
Since I started pushing my 1920x quad-core processor, I’ve noticed my PC often freezes when I’m not using it. Restarting seems to resolve the issue temporarily. I’ve experimented with adjusting voltage and clock speeds, but nothing seems to help. I remember Linus mentioning Threadripper’s high RAM demands—whether that’s about memory speed or available bandwidth. I have 16GB of 3600MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM.
After using the profile, I was a bit taken aback seeing 3600MHz run on Zen CPUs. Usually, this requires manual timing adjustments and it's unlikely the chip will handle it automatically.
I believe I set my CPU voltage too low. The guide mentioned 1920x at around 1.325 volts, originally I was at 1.26875 and now it's 1.3. It looks okay right now, but my motherboard is an X399M.
