I know about the corsair vengeance xmp problems. I just set up a new rig with 64 GB DDR5, a 14900k processor, and an MSI Edge Wi-Fi card. I tried applying the XMP profile but the OC failed. They were set to 5400 for stability, though they’re rated for 6000. Since I’m not an expert, any advice on getting stable 6000 would be appreciated.

The precise memory kit model is ATX Edge. You're utilizing specific memory slots, and yes, this is indeed the ATX Edge configuration, not the ITX Edge.

I need additional details about your system. Could you share your motherboard specifications, CPU model, and RAM amount? Also, let me know which slots you're considering for XMP settings. I'm using a Corsair Dominator 6000 with an Asus ROG Strix X670E-E and have found that A2 and B2 slots work best.

Initial check at 6000 OCS caused an OC failure, but after the second attempt it started booting to Windows though it displayed an instant blue screen.

It’s going to be a challenge getting the right components. The chances of getting consistent DDR5 sticks are low, especially with different BIOS versions, boards, CPUs, and luck. Since you’re likely purchasing two separate 2x16GB kits, there’s a risk the units aren’t identical—so aiming for 5400 might be your best bet. Take out all the RAM and check each stick for its version number (like ver. 4.43.13), then share what you find.
