I'm having trouble getting the expo or xmp to function properly. It doesn't start up when I enable expo. I've used three different RAM kits, both A2 and B2 slots on the X870 Aorus Elite Wifi7 motherboard, with every stick working only in single mode with default settings. No changes have helped. I own a G.Skill Neo 6400 CL30 (32GB), Corsair Vengeance CL32 (32GB), a 700W PSU, a 9950X, an EVGA 3060ti, and an NH-D15. The only way it boots is by lowering the VDDIO voltage to 1.19V, but anything above that causes it to crash. Any advice?

Hey there! Here’s what you need to know: when the system doesn’t boot, look for a two-digit code in the top-right corner of the board. Also, it seems you’ve been waiting about 15 minutes for memory training to finish—good timing! Just a heads-up, this spec isn’t great for RAM, so don’t worry if you miss it.

It simply turns off once you enable expo and restart, and it doesn’t allow access to BIOS.

For optimal stability, set the CPU_VDDIO_MEM value to match your RAM's specifications.

I would reach out to customer support for a possible RMA reference. I simply power up XMP and let it run. In your situation, I’d look at the preloaded profiles to confirm there’s a 6000 speed preset and proceed accordingly. If not, consider RMA. Having two kits with the same issue suggests the problem might be with the motherboard.

Definitely, fixing Mobo issues is tough when debugging, but they shouldn't have to deal with it again.
