I accidentally dropped ramen on my Logitech G915TKL keyboard. After cleaning it as much as possible and letting it dry, the issue persists—only the Logitech logo appears in red and green when I power it on. Do you think there might be a problem with the keyboard or a software glitch?

It looks like the device got damaged by moisture, possibly causing shorts. After thorough cleaning and disassembly, if you're observing the issue, it's likely the unit is no longer functional. This explanation also considers any contamination in the switches.

It's challenging to put into action, but you must prohibit all food and beverages while using your computer. 1. safeguards your costly equipment from mishaps. 2. it enables quick access to snacks without stopping abruptly. Regarding spilled Ramen, it's nearly too late; you should fully dismantle the keyboard and wash it thoroughly under water to remove noodles and salt. Afterward, let it dry upside down for several days. For mechanical keyboards, the process becomes even more complex—likely requiring disassembly of every switch and cleaning. The chances of recovery are minimal. To sum up, reconsider your approach... Have a pleasant day!

Fortunately, keyboards are some of the most affordable components in a computer. Yours might not be, but I’d look for insurance coverage if available.
