Yes, you can install a 3200MHz RAM stick in an M.2 slot that supports 3200MHz only using XMP profile support.
You can operate it without XMP; it will simply function slower.
It doesn't work unless you activate the XMP profile for the specified speed or change your RAM settings. In that case, RAM will operate at 2133 MHz for DDR4 and 1333 MHz for most DDR3 systems.
