I placed the PC and initially verified compatibility online. The PC Part Picker listed everything as fine, and no issues were mentioned. However, at the store I didn’t find any support for my RAM. Should I contact them to see if I can modify my order?

Yes sir. It will. if you check the list you'll see some other g.skill ram with almost the same model number, indicating they are the same just with a different heat spreader.
