Typically, a 2x4 2133g RAM setup uses around 40% or more of your RAM once you start Windows 10.

yea if you have a lot of bloatware running in the background. 40% of 8gb is like 3.2gb, sounds normal for a PC with bloatware mine uses 3.5/16gb on idle

Examine the taskbar, identify programs you don’t need, and delete them. The 3.2GB is typical, so Windows, Discord, and Steam should already handle that space.

I don’t understand what they do. I have them as well (likely some Windows tools), so I wouldn’t try to interact with them.

Besides removing background processes, upgrading your RAM might be the most effective solution if you're running low. Eight gigabytes is currently insufficient for modern needs.

I considered purchasing two 32GB RAM sticks in 2x8 configuration, but I realized I also need an updated motherboard and processor.
