Hello, I’d like to increase my laptop’s RAM from 8GB to 16GB. I’m unsure how much to purchase and need guidance on the right specifications. There are images from Speedy and Task Manager showing the Asus Tuf Gaming FX 505DT model.

The maximum RAM speed for your laptop is 2400MHz because the Ryzen chip can’t handle higher frequencies. You might also reach up to 32 gigabytes of RAM (the 2666 is just a marketing number).

Yes, I can purchase these rams, and things should work out.

It looks like you're starting a message. Could you clarify what you'd like to discuss or ask?

It should work well. For tighter timings, HyperX Impact SO-DIMM DDR4 8Gb might be a good choice. Just make sure the slot dimensions match and it fits physically.
