I am currently working with a very limited budget and can only afford up to 8gb of 2666mhz RAM. I plan to upgrade later by adding more RAM in a few months. The issue is that this 8gb 2666mhz Kingston RAM is hard to find at local stores. I was thinking about getting 8gb of 2400mhz RAM instead, as they are much easier to obtain. My system runs a Ryzen 5 1600 and has an R9 380 GPU. I know Ryzen performs better with higher RAM speeds, but right now I can't afford 3000mhz or 3200mhz RAM. Is 2400mhz enough for my setup?

Yeah, sure. You should aim for over 3000, and it might depend on whether two sticks work or not—buying from the same pack is a good idea. Which country are you from? Have you bought 1600 and R9 380 before?

Ha, you again. 3000+ is preferred, and 2 separate sticks might or might not work; buying from the same pack is a safe choice... which country are you from? Is it 1600 and have you bought R9 380 before? Thanks for your help, vapour

Yes, you can upgrade in the future by adding more kits. Regarding the brand, it's not well-known to me. Your motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3.

same model may work, but not guaranteed, different batch may have slightly different timing... However, you can always sell and buy 2x8 later, ram price is only going up... Or if the shop has good return policy, worth trying. Geil is OK, not as good as G.Skill/Corsair etc., but for 2666 should be fine. checked some newegg reviews, that ram model seems fine.
