You're looking to upgrade your RAM in an ASUS Prime B360M-A motherboard. You currently have two 4GB sticks at 2666MHz, and you want to add two more 8GB sticks on top. The main questions are: Can you install the new sticks in the other RAM slots? Do they need to match the existing speed? And can the new sticks run faster than what your motherboard supports?

They aren't required to be as they'll operate at identical latency and frequency. The maximum supported rate is 2666.

Aim for consistency with existing resources; adding quicker storage won’t slow things down—it will only keep performance steady.
