I'm checking availability for the Ryzen 5 5600X and thinking about upgrading from your current 2400MHz setup. Should I opt for a higher MHz with slightly more latency, or maybe slower RAM with a touch less latency? Let me know what you think is best.

From the three choices, the DDR4-3600 CL16-16-16-36 stands out as the top option. It would be even superior if there was a DDR4-3600 CL14 kit available—DDR4-3200 or DDR4-3400 CL14 might also perform better.

Not always. Both models support DDR4-3600 and CL16 speeds, but the secondary clock settings on the Trident Z RGB are superior. -16-16-16-36 is better than -19-19-19-39. The Trident Z RGB with 16-16-16-16-36 uses Samsung B-Die chips, while the Trident Z Neo with 16-19-19-39 uses SK Hynix C-Die chips.
