Hello, I own an i5 8600K with a maximum of 2666 MHz RAM. I’m considering upgrading to 3200 MHz RAM. Would adding that cause any issues? I plan to install it in a new PC that supports 3200 MHz.

It isn't limited to a maximum, only backed by Intel up to 2666 MHz. That means you handle things above 4000MHz on your own, unless you use an XMP profile as most users do
