It's unusual for RAM slots to stop working suddenly, but it could happen due to hardware issues or power problems. This might affect your system's performance.

Do you possess several RAM modules? The slots are arranged in a specific sequence, so if you have just one stick, it will function only in the first slot (any of them may be listed in the manual or on the board). Having just one stick likely means a single module is responsible for the problems.

I installed four RAM modules, but only two were placed together because of the duel channel layout. I’m unsure why the remaining ones stopped working.

That's what I believed, but it turns out they're all of them.

Clean them out with a brush I see a lot of dust in there which can easily cause connection issues.

Have you attempted to reset the BIOS? It's possible a random setting error occurred. Unlikely, but it could happen if the memory controller on the CPU failed. Was the CPU loaded with custom voltages?
