Finishing build, was originally just going to be an upgrade, but got a great deal on a B550 black Friday so old system is going to roommate to get into PC gaming. Given these two kits, is there a benefit to going to the 3600 kit? I know that higher frequency and tighter timings are better but will I notice a difference? Games: Cities skylines, FH 4, various other low stress games R5 5600 ASROCK Phantom gaming 4 AC GTX 1080 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/wNt9TW/...0hc16fdc01 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/GkJgXL/...0hc18jdc01

Which CPU will you choose? Performance varies depending on the CPU's relationship with memory speed, meaning some models will stand out more compared to others. However, the variation costs just a dollar. It's worth considering the upgrade if it makes a noticeable impact on price.

It's one of the least memory-heavy chips on AM4, meaning you probably won't see a big impact. Still, it costs $1. It's worth the price.
