Check PCPP listings for a 3000MHz CL16 with 2x8GB RAM around $45 or $50.

Cl15 and Cl16 differ in formulation, potentially affecting performance. At Jurrunio, consider testing both to see which suits your needs best.

I referred to the specific CPU and motherboard you have in mind. Various processors work best with particular memory configurations and rates.

To some extent. Greater MHz mean quicker memory, yet lower cas also leads to faster memory.

Intel handles RAM requirements more flexibly than many modern AMD systems, which simplifies things. For AMD, you’d typically need extremely fast, low-latency RAM. However, your board supports four memory slots, so the card will operate efficiently without demanding top-tier specs. You might want to fill two slots at once, suggesting a 2x8 configuration could work well. This arrangement may relate to how the motherboard organizes memory traces, though it’s not essential. I’m unsure if that matters for performance. For purchasing, aim for 288-pin DDR4 RAM that meets your minimum speed requirement—this number isn’t clear yet. You’ll likely need at least 4000MHz, which could be costly. Check the manufacturer’s site for tested brands and models; their lists are usually extensive. Using compatible memory can help, but it’s not mandatory. @Jurrunio’s suggestion might offer a good balance of price and performance. On PCPP, you can search prices, though Black Friday pricing isn’t available in the US anymore. Outside the US, it still works. You’ll probably need to explore various sites or use a shopping app to find deals. I haven’t found a suitable tool yet.
