Hello, I need to know how to overclock my G.skill Trident Z 16GB 2400MHz CL15. I understand you can raise the RAM speed via BIOS, but I’d like guidance on making it stable with proper voltage and timing settings.

You may attempt to raise the Frequency until issues appear (such as memtest or Intel burn test with 10 attempts) or encounter crashes during startup.

What are your system specifications? Motherboard, CPU, PSU. Are you increasing the CPU speed beyond its default? For systems with Ryzen processors, there are helpful tools that calculate timing, voltages, and other details needed for overclocking RAM. You need to configure these settings through your system's BIOS interface.

Search for a tool named DRAM Calculator tailored for Ryzen processors. This application should help you utilize its calculations effectively.
https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dow...lator.html
The provided guide outlines the steps for using the software, though the instructions are mostly visual examples from YouTube videos. Share your DIMM details and CPU specs, and it will compute timing and voltage settings for different overclock levels. Keep in mind: this is only a calculator, so it won’t modify your system directly—provided you input correct data, it’s safe (unless you manually apply values to BIOS).

Before attempting overclocks, ensure your motherboard is updated with the latest BIOS for optimal AGESA compatibility. Avoid BIOS versions claiming support for upcoming AMD CPUs unless they specifically mention Ryzen 3000 models.
