I explored overclocking RAM in my BIOS and discovered a setting called "Tinkers heaven" that lets me adjust RAM speed to higher values like 3400 MHz. Understanding the pros, cons, and safety steps helped me plan how to do it properly for my second RAM installation.

Thanks, And that's awesome. I'm running A 4x8 kit from Corsair, Here's the link to what I bought: https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-Vengeance...207&sr=8-7 I hope this helps enough. (I don't want to go find the box lmao)

Great setup. You should simply turn on XMP, press F10 for saving and posting. Does it function correctly?

You're looking to push performance beyond XMP limits, so you'll need to tweak settings manually. Exploring the advantages of boosting your CPU to over 3400 MHz versus 3200 MHz is a great way to optimize speed.

If XMP works, then you should be running 3600mhz. You want to select the next divider up. 3633 or 3667 or 3700mhz ect ect. If you run into a jam, hang up or blue screen, you can loosen the timings. Then you don't need to add voltage when you loosen timings, and this would be the "safest" approach to overclocking memory. Here's a recent example of an overclock I've accomplished. Should give you some pointers along the way too.

I noticed the numbers were mixed up—your message said 3600 but you mentioned 3200. It wasn’t a big issue, probably just a small mix-up. Thanks for letting me know! I’ll try it anyways.
