I possess a Ryzen 5 3600 built-in on a B550M Aorus Pro MB. Two RAM sticks, each 8 GB, operate at speeds up to 3600 MHz (G.Skill Ripjaws V). I've activated the XMP profile, configured the RAM frequency at 3600 MHz with a 1.35V voltage, but the system still crashes under demanding tasks with sluggish start times. It remains stable at around 3000 MHz. To improve RAM performance and efficiency, consider adjusting settings or checking for driver updates.

At 3600mhz it causes significant latency and crashes. I haven't adjusted the DRAM voltage to 1.4V, thinking it might be risky. Any advice?

Apply factory default configurations, then activate the XMP profile without altering any other parameters. The profile handles timing, voltage, and frequency settings automatically. If issues persist, adjust the VCORE SOC voltage sequentially—starting at 1.1V, then 1.15V, 1.2V—and consider 1.4V for DRAM if needed. A 100% safe DRAM voltage is 1.4V, and up to 1.5V is acceptable for continuous operation. If these steps fail, the system may require a 3200MHz speed, though this isn't guaranteed on every chip. The maximum supported speed is 3600MHz, which is technically overclocking and not assured for all devices.
