Ryzen 5 3600 AX370 Gaming K5 F40 BIOS Specifications
Patriot Viper Blackout 3000 2x8GB
GTX 1060 3GB
Memory has been overclocked to 3200 via XMP settings.
Can the speed go beyond 3200? The BIOS indicates a maximum of 3200 OC, but after the F40 BIOS update, it allows editing speeds up to 4000MHz.
I ran a SPD read on the memory kit: http://prntscr.com/q2zr5l
Not familiar with Nanya Technology, so I’m unsure about their RAM quality, though the kit seems decent.
The Ryzen Dram calculator doesn’t account for this type of die, making it hard to estimate exact limits.
Any information would be appreciated.
Looks like your RAM is spec'd at 1.2V 3000MHz C15 (I think??) If so you should have some headroom as long as your X370 is up to it.
This is how I OC RAM,
Set dram voltage to 1.35V (you could go up to 1.4V if you wanted), leave timings on auto, and increase RAM speed, then test.
