Hello everyone,
I’m trying to resolve an issue where my RAM memory (DDR4 24000) only operates at a frequency of 1197.1Mhz according to CPU-Z. The PC specifications are: Ryzen 3-1200, ASRock AB350M Pro4 motherboard (latest BIOS). I found the motherboard link here: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M Pro4/.

I understand XMP could fix this, but my BIOS doesn’t allow it. I also think I should be able to manually adjust the RAM speed, though I’m not sure about the RAM details.

The RAM stick specs are available here: https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR24N17S6_4.pdf
Perhaps the problem lies in whether the RAM manufacturer is included in the supported list on the motherboard specifications?

If anyone has any advice, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

DDR stands for double data rate.
CPU-Z likely displays the accurate speed - 1197 x 2 equals 2394 (or 2400).
This means your RAM operates at 2400, reflecting the double data rate of 1200.
