DDR3K on Z77? It was a challenge getting past 2200 MHz but I was running dual rank. You might be able to achieve it with a simpler board than what I used. Maybe your expectations are a bit high. Still, I’m not sure. Honestly, you’d probably enjoy something more recent. I upgraded from a 4700MHz 3770K to a 3600XT and was impressed by the improvements. Then the 5600X was another big step forward, followed by the 5900X because I couldn’t afford a GPU and wanted a 5GHz clock speed I’d been aiming for for over ten years. Got it!
Even at freezing temperatures, I wish I had a Ryzen. The board is around twenty dollars for what seems like a functional x470, but the CPUs are over a hundred dollars each—only the 4100 is decent in RAM options. If I want something with good memory, the 4500 is just a bit more expensive. These chips are meant for high-end RAM speeds, but they’re not great for CPU performance since they lack cache. Right now I’m thinking about buying some DDR3 sticks and selling them with an OC profile for over two thousand dollars, though I’d probably only get up to 775 or 1155 if the memory quality is really bad. If they can’t even reach 2600, that’s a win. At least I could be a bit more responsible someday.

Then there are cooling problems but the fan and my homemade aluminum heatsink (no cheater foil here) should handle it.)
I wouldn't give my sweet BBSE or my Hypers that kind of treatment with constant voltage. What you're describing is hardware abuse—like running things 24/7. Hope you have a good outcome. When something fails, record your actions and use it as a learning opportunity. Have fun!
Hypers will handle voltage readings, BBSE doesn't seem to be the case here when the DDR3 IC mentions it handles only 1.9V. I won't set up profiles above 2.1V (X58 or older) or 1.9V for newer models; degradation shouldn't be a problem. However, 4Gbit chips appear to operate at very low voltages (except in microns), so 1.9V seems reasonable. I'm not sure if they'll go higher, but it's possible they could support 2.1V. The Samsung device lasted 8 hours of P95 large FFT stress without any visible wear—likely the IC itself is failing first. Still, I'm working with robust hardware, so I expect it to remain stable or not degrade significantly.
