You're using a Ryzen 3700X with non-optimized RAM, which is understandable given the mixed availability. The same AMD variant you saw at that price point is also available for Intel. If you switch to Intel-compatible RAM, performance differences may be noticeable, especially if your system supports it. Enabling the DOCP profile should still work, but confirm your motherboard and BIOS support it.

Make sure your RAM matches the specifications listed for your motherboard. Visit the manufacturer’s website for your board and look for the compatible RAM guide. If it matches, there should be no issues or performance drops.

The results won't differ much as long as the chip remains stable, especially with modern Ryzen processors. Optimizing for Ryzen usually means tweaking timing or settings to improve stability on that platform.

^^^ aside from that if it works fine then no worries since you cant exactly fix something if it isnt broken

You seem confident about handling timing tweaks on your setup, even with the Intel-optimized RAM.

You're welcome! Yes, I can help you turn on the built-in profile settings like XMP and DOCP.

Take it from me, don't trust what the RAM manufacturer says. Go by the board manufacturer's QVL. I didn't know it was a thing until I found out the hard way. Although I was recommended Crucial Ballistix for Ryzen by a family member, and Crucial's site specifically says Crucial Ballistix BL2K16G32C16U4B are compatible with my Asus Tuf B550-PLUS board, two separate kits I got wound up causing problems with three different builds, a 5900X on the Asus board, a 3600X on an ASRock B450M-HDV, and a 1700 on an MSI B450M Bazooka. The issues with the 5900X and 3600X have been resolved with QVL-recommended RAM, the 1700 has yet to be addressed, as it is in furlough. FWIW, the only person that recognized the RAM's SKU remembered ordering it for an Intel build some time ago. So go by the board manufacturer's QVL. It will save you a lot of headache. If it helps, the Asus TUF B550-PLUS with Patriot VIper PVB432G320C6K (Viper 4 Blackout) at 16-18-18-36 timings, 1.35V (required manual settings) has proven itself a trouble-free combination with my 5900X. Just checked Asus' QVL and the same Patriot VIper 4 Blackout PVB432G320C6K is confirmed for the 3700X (Mattise) at 16-18-18-36 timings, 1.35V. The Patriot VIper Steel PVS432G320C6K should be the same DIMMs with a different heat spreader, same timings and voltage should apply. Edited September 12, 2022 by An0maly_76 Revised, more info

The kit appears compatible with your system. The motherboard supports the Ryzen 3700X and the Wi-Fi is included, so it should work well on your PC.
