I purchased a G SKILL 3600mhz cl16 dual kit memory and configured the BIOS for XMP settings, displaying 3600mhz. Upon booting Windows 10, only 3200mhz appears in the CPU-Z and other monitors. You should verify the memory settings in BIOS, ensure the correct chip is selected, and check for any driver issues.

What processor and motherboard are you using? Also, do you have RAM installed in slots 2 and 4?

It's located in slots 2 and 4, matching my earlier 3200mhz build. CPU is i5 9600k, motherboard ASUS ROG STRIX Z390 GAMING. I've attached a CPU-Z screenshot.

Your kit might contain multiple XMP profiles. Look in the BIOS for various options.

Only two entries appear in the bios, both displaying 3600cl16 values that vanish upon startup.
