Hi everyone, I own a Lenovo Ideapad gaming 3 laptop that I use outside my main PC. When I first got it, I was surprised by the 8GB RAM and 250GB storage, especially since the rest seemed okay for the price I paid ($500). I had a 32GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM stick nearby, so I replaced it with a Samsung 2TB 970 and everything has been fine for three months. However, this morning my laptop won’t accept the new RAM, even though no updates were installed. After putting it to sleep last night, this issue occurred. Could there be a reason it’s refusing the RAM without an update, or is the memory just failing?
