I'm a bit puzzled about the RAM channel. Some RAM modules come in single pieces, like the image you shared. If I have two identical kits from different packages and connect them together, would they provide dual-channel performance?

Assuming they work, yes. The problem is they're not guaranteed to work together, so there is a small but non-zero chance of them just not turning on when in the same system together.

Currently, these items haven't been tested together, which might cause issues. Today, it's simpler to use both kits at the same time.
