I bought RAM from NewEgg (sold and delivered by them). The RAM I got (Ripjaws DDR4-3200 16GBx2) doesn’t seem to function properly. I’ve tried all known methods to get it working. I updated the BIOS on my ASUS Z270-A motherboard to the latest version. I double-checked that the RAM clicks and sits correctly during each test. My CPU is an i7-7700k, and the GPU is a GTX 1070. Previously, I had Ripjaws DDR4-3000 8GBx2 installed in A1 and B1, which worked perfectly for years. That’s why I bought another set (Ripjaws DDR4-3200 16GBx2) to fit the two extra empty slots. It should work with the new RAM if I set its frequency to 3000 in the BIOS. I attempted troubleshooting by installing one RAM stick at a time, but my PC would either fail to boot or show an orange DRAM light. If I put one of my old DDR4-3000 sticks in A1, it boots fine, but inserting any of the new 3200 sticks in A1 causes issues. The same happened when I swapped them to B1 and B2. I’m aiming for a total of 48GB at 3000GHz, which is really frustrating. I’ve tried placing my old 3000 RAM in A1 and B1, new 3200 in A2 and B2, and even mixed it up with the old sticks in different slots, but the orange DRAM light still appears during boot. I also experimented with old 3000 RAM in A1 and A2, new 3200 in B1 and B2, yet the problem persists. Please help me resolve this issue.
