You're about to add RAM to your Asrock B450M Steel Legend with a Ryzen 5 2600. You have two 8GB DDR4 3200MHz sticks and four slots, but you're unsure how to place them for dual-channel performance. Refer to the official motherboard guide here: https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/B450M Steel Legend/#Specification. The screenshots you shared should help clarify the placement instructions.

Choose slots 2 and 4 from the left side or CPU side and enable XMP in your motherboard's BIOS.

Placed the sticks in the furthest slots away from the CPU, spaced one apart. It should appear like this |Empty|Full|Empty|Full|

Use the second and fourth positions when counting from the CPU left to right. For example, 0 1 0 1 means slot 0 is empty, slot 1 has RAM, slot 2 is free, and slot 3 is occupied.
