Consider removing the RAM stick to check if it resolves the issue. I'm not familiar with a situation like this before...

It might be one of a few possibilities. The on-board audio could have been turned off in the BIOS after installing new hardware—this is definitely something to investigate. Make sure all cables are properly connected.
