Ram ignition issue occurred during startup.
Hey there! I just acquired two Xpg Spectrix D60G RAM sticks (XPG, DDR4, U-Dimm, 8GB, 3600MHz) for my ASUS PRIME X570-P with an AMD 5 3 Gen processor. When I tried to configure the system at 3600MHz, it locked me into safe mode on the BIOS. I’m comfortable installing Windows and a bit more, so I’m hoping you can assist. What adjustments should I make in the BIOS settings to get it working smoothly? I’d prefer it to run at 3200MHz or lower, but if that doesn’t help, it might restart several times before entering safe mode.
Reset the CMOS. Configure the SOC to version 1.1 and DRAM to 1.35. Adjust the frequency to 3200 with XMP/DPOC enabled. If it boots successfully, proceed with a 3600 boot cycle using the specified settings. Ensure RAM is installed in slots 2 and 4. Edited August 11, 2020 by TofuHaroto – missed a note.
Did you confirm the CMOS was cleared before setting the SOC to 1.1, DRAM to 1.35, and enabling XMP at 3600? Also, make sure slot 2 and 4 are correctly assigned.
For drama and SOC, aim for 3600. If it boots, ensure stability. You may try OCCT or memtest to verify. Good luck.
