I just installed a new PC and am facing some issues. My RAM is 3600 MHz but I can only run it at 2400 MHz, which causes instability when I try 3600. Also, the mouse cursor is lagging. I switched from Intel to AMD without reinstalling Windows. Here are the parts I used: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/W48yFg If anyone has advice or suggestions, please let me know.

I noticed it's actually 3200, not 3600.

Was es nicht ausgeführt bei seiner Standardgeschwindigkeit, sondern eher überclockt? Ich vermute, du hast es auf eine höhere Frequenz eingestellt, da deine Liste von PCPartPicker einen 3200MHz angibt.

I suspect I may have purchased faulty RAM.

RAM looks fine. I use several Team modules. Install memtest86 on a USB drive and run memory tests. If it fails—swap it out. If it passes—probably another issue. Have you tried removing and reinserting the RAM carefully, making sure the tabs click properly? When you mention setting the RAM to 3200, are you adjusting DOCP/XMP in BIOS or manually changing the speed?

I’m considering a GPU upgrade for a 760 Ti budget around $300. The RTX 3050 offers solid performance, while a used 2060 could be a more affordable option. Which fits your needs best?

There’s no way to adjust the RAM speed beyond what’s available in the OC menu, and the BIOS doesn’t offer a setting for RAM timings.
