Ram doesn't fit; must take out the heatsink.
The 2 RAM modules don’t fit as they are a 16GB RGB 3200MHz model from Team Force Group. To fit, you’d need to take off the heat sink or place both RAMs on A1 and A2, leaving B1 and B2 empty—this would eliminate dual channel support. Would you like me to check if removing the heatsink is feasible? Also, how important is dual channel for your performance? You’re currently using RAMs on A1 and A2.
Typically, heatsinks are bonded, so avoid using solvents to separate them as it could harm the PCB. Many solvents leave behind dielectric residues that can ruin your equipment. You might consider grinding or cutting the memory heatsink, but proceed with caution.
I believe it's feasible to add RAM in slots 1 and 3, especially if I explore another opening from the cooler fan. Is this going to be a dual-channel setup? Thanks. Edit: Installed successfully on slots 2 and 4 after removing a fan and moving it to the top of the cooler. Currently experiencing stress and temperature issues.
