Ram crashing on the PC after being borrowed
Previously, I assembled a new setup and borrowed 8GB of RAM from a friend for a short period. He had two of his fourGB sticks. After I returned the RAM, he claimed it was damaging his computer and that I’d somehow broken his RAM. He mentioned trying everything to fix the issue, but I’m not convinced. RAM failures don’t usually cause such problems. Could anyone explain what might be causing this crash? It seems to happen occasionally during normal use, though it sometimes occurs when launching games or opening the MSC. If you need more details, feel free to ask—I can request my friend’s specs. Well he isn't the one who is here asking for advice, so not much we can do to help him. As for you, though. It is not your fault that he is having problems and you should not feel obligated to help him fix it. As far as any of us know, his problems have nothing to do with the RAM.
