You can replace the 2697A v4 with your 5930K, keeping the ECC RAM. The new server will run normally without ECC features, but it won’t benefit from them. You don’t need to upgrade the RAM if you want performance for game servers.

Show a pic of the rams. If they're not ecc unbuffered or unregistered, you can use em on a 5930k. If they are registered, skip it. For a game server, you'll likely need something faster than an overclocked 5930k—consider a used 3600(x) for $50-60, or a used Midrange Ranger B3/450 for $50-70. X99 is still steep, but it should cover most costs if you can save.
