When evaluating this product, I checked the specifications section and found that the drives work with Z370 Mobo devices. Is compatibility limited to that model? Also, are these only suitable for Intel-based systems?

It varies based on the CPU and whether you're using the standard settings without extra adjustments. It's not inexpensive even for a 3200MHz CL16 build (though it's the most affordable Trident Z kit), the best savings come under $70. I'd skip it.
