I have the Core i9 12900k CPU and need to adjust the RAM speed. I own four 16GB GSKILL 5600mhz DDR5 modules, two in each case. By default, the speed was set to 5600 and the system was very unstable, crashing immediately after boot. After lowering it to 5200, the crashes stopped temporarily, but they reappeared every few hours—especially during gaming. Now I’m unsure if lowering it further would help. I paid for 5600 and wondered why I can’t use that speed, or why it doesn’t work at all. The WhoCrashed tool provided some crash data.

You purchased a product not officially backed by the manufacturer, so anticipate some issues and adjustments to achieve optimal performance—likely requiring manual changes to timing or voltage.
