I'm searching for suitable RAM for a build using a GIGABYTE Z790 Eagle AX, i7-14700, and a WD_BLACK 2TB SN8100 NVMe SSD. Due to the delays on popular options, I've chosen Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) at 6000MHz CL30. Is this a good fit compared to alternatives like Crucial, Corsair, G Skill, Teamgroup, etc., which have longer wait times? I'm okay with non-RGB options and would appreciate any suggestions that could work well with the i7 and RAM range of 5600-6000 MHz. Also, are there any issues if I use 6400 MHz? Please share your thoughts.

Could you clarify what you mean by "repercussions using 6400 ram"? Are you asking about potential consequences of using a system with 6400 RAM?

Neither of the brands you mentioned is a problem. I choose Crucial from those options.

So, COLGeek, would you consider the Crucial Pro DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB), 6400MHz CL32 against the Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 RAM 32GB (2X16GB) at 6000MHz CL30? It feels like just a matter of numbers.

The Crucial might run slightly quicker, yet the gap will be minimal in real-world use.
Ignoring benchmark variances, perhaps just a few frames per second.
