Hello, your setup already has solid specs with two 8GB GPUs at 3200MHz each. Mixing both RAM sticks in her PC could cause conflicts or instability, especially since they have different CL speeds (16 vs 19). Upgrading to a single 32GB stick would be a great move for her gaming and editing needs. The Ryzen 7 2700X and B450-F GAMING motherboard are well-suited for that configuration. Thank you!

It should function properly if you activate the XMP profile using the 16-19-19-39 settings. The 16-18-18-38 configuration could also be viable.

Attempt it with DOCH or similar, and let me know. It should work though—no guarantees. With the components on hand, a quick five-minute test might help.

G. Skill RAM is reliable and performs well across various setups. I frequently use Ripjaws in several builds, and it has consistently delivered strong results over the years.

She motherboard handled 3200Mhz before using two 8GB sticks. After adding the other two 8GB sticks it stabilized at 2800Mhz, even under some load. It still crashes when reaching 2800Mhz, restarting automatically. DOCH remains active. I’m not sure how to push past that speed, and I don’t have much experience with this stuff. Thanks again for the advice! At least I know it works.

Fascinating. You might adjust them individually to 3200 and CL 16 19 19 39 for both. DOCH could be facing problems with the timing.

The 2800MHz frequency works well with a Ryzen 2700x. It’s not a big deal overall, and you’re seeing only minor differences. I’ve used it anywhere from 2400 on my server to 2666 on my home machine, and up to 3200 in another setup.
