Rainbow Six Siege or Far Cry 5
Rainbow Six Siege or Far Cry 5
Hi, guys, I am looking for a new game to play I am interested in Rainbow Six Siege and FarCry 5. I am worried about the pay to play aspects of R6 Siege (buying operators) however I have a lot of single-player games and I am interested in getting into some multiplayer games. However, I am still very interested in FarCry 5. I know this is a PC gaming Forum but I am planning on playing on a PS4 slim 1TB (i can't afford a PC worthy of these titles).
Far Cry 5 is not a very good game. Far Cry New Dawn is actually a better game, but it’s also much shorter and covers only a small portion of the FC5 map. You would also miss much of the FC5 story if you jumped straight to it. Far Cry 5 looked great to many people when they saw the trailers, but the trailers do not reveal its forced captures, its use of plants to make a drug called “Bliss,” its weird Bliss zombies wearing hospital masks, and its animals tainted with the drug that appear and disappear and change form. Besides that, there are issues with the companion AI; they will often stop talking for no reason halfway…
Far Cry 5 is not a particularly good game. Far Cry New Dawn is actually a superior game, though it is significantly shorter and covers only a small part of the FC5 map. Jumping directly to it would result in missing much of the FC5 narrative. Despite appearing impressive in trailers, FC5 features excessive forced captures, numerous plants used for producing the drug "Bliss," bizarre "Bliss" zombies wearing hospital masks, and animals tainted with the drug that appear and disappear, frequently altering their forms. Furthermore, there are problems with companion AI; they often abruptly cease conversation mid-sentence, repeating themselves repeatedly, or become stuck in awkward positions while boating or falling overboard. They can drive, albeit poorly on winding roads, and Jess, the stealth-focused companion, occasionally fires arrows indiscriminately or commandeers helicopters instead of accompanying the player quietly. FC5 initially possessed great potential but was diminished by an abundance of surreal elements that felt incongruous. Ubisoft exhibits peculiar practices, even transforming Ghost Recon into a fictional setting—a science fiction fantasy game akin to The Division.
