Rainbow Six Siege has some frustrating crashes.
I enjoy Rainbow Six Siege, though some games tend to crash when I push my GPU or CPU too hard. After a few overclock attempts, the game freezes and stops working for about 15-20 minutes before it crashes again. I often need to restart my PC. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this issue? It seems like the problem is specific to that game. Even if I don’t overclock, I usually get around 60 FPS. It’s frustrating because I have to tweak settings just for one game, which isn’t practical. Other titles like Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 4, GTA V, BF4, and BF HL have worked fine for me, but not so much for Rainbow Six Siege.
If your overclock leads to crashes, it's not very reliable. It works fine in Tomb Raider (I kept my GPU at 100%) and reaches up to 1520MHz, but it fails during StarCraft II (around 30-100% load, changing a lot). It crashes near 1480MHz. You should try different workloads before deciding if it's stable.
